About McMurry University

McMurry University is a private co-educational university in Abilene, which is a city in west central Texas state, USA, situated in Taylor and Jones counties, serving as the county seat of Taylor County, with a populaton of over 158 000 inhabitants, at the time of the 2006 census estimate.

The university was established in 1923 and it is affiliated with the United Methodist church. Athletics
